Polyarmory is a semi-annual campout for polyam and polyam-friendly folks from around Texas, under the leadership of our sister group Polyamory of Suburban Houston (POSH). We get together a few times a year to enjoy our community, chill by the fire, and toast marshmallows with new friends and chosen family.
Polyarmory isn’t about finding dates: instead, we’re about forming community in a polyam-normative, SOGI-affirming, pro-neurodiversity, and trauma-aware space under the stars.
Our History
Polyarmory is a group of over 200 polyamorous and polyamory-friendly people from throughout the state of Texas and beyond. We held our first campout in 2017 at the Texas Renaissance Festival, and, with the exception of the 2020 pandemic, have held at least one campout every year since. At Polyarmory, people who practice ethical non-monogamy of any kind where we can camp with our friends and partners without anyone raising a fuss about anyone else’s sleeping arrangements.
Our leaders, Tabby and Sarah, are also the leaders of Polyamory of Suburban Houston (POSH), and all of our campouts include members of POSH and friends from throughout central and east Texas.
